Kumar Sangakkara and night-watchman Chaminda Vaas cautiously added an unbroken 72 runs for the third wicket Saturday as Sri Lanka took the ascendancy over India on day two of the third and series-deciding test.
Sri Lanka reached 114-2 in its first innings at lunch, in reply to India’s 249.
Sri Lanka were 114 for the loss of two wickets against India at lunch on the second day of the third and final cricket Test here today.
Sri Lanka resumed their innings at 14 for one.
India were all out for 249 in their first innings.
