Team India and the Lankan Lions face-off for one final time in the Premadas today, there is still a lot to play for. Especially for Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh – who will need to redeem themselves after a disastrous series. The duo has simply failed to fire.
But if not for Skipper Dhoni and Suresh Raina’s batting heroics — the Indian middle order may have cut a sorry figure – as the pair rose to the challenge to guide India to an historic series win.
The Lankans, however, will be playing for pride and a respectable score line. But knowing Dhoni and his Men in Blue, the Indians will settle for nothing less than another win – to round off a successful tour.
