Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss against Mumbai Indians and elected to bowl in the first match of the Second Edition of the Indian Premier League.
The second match will be played between Bangalore Royal Challengers and defending champion Rajasthan Royals.
In all, 59 matches will be played in the tournament.
Chennai Super King will be led by Dhoni who is on cloud nine after historic win at New Zealand while the Mumbai Indians are also enthused with the superb form of Sachin Tendulkar.
