ICC World Twenty20 : India vs West Indies

After a cakewalk against minnows in the league matches, India would be in for their first real challenge as they square up against the West Indies in their Super Eight opening match in the Twenty20 World Cup at the Lord’s here on Friday.

Defending champion India takes on West Indies in its first Super 8 match of T20 World Cup at Lord’s on Friday.

India reached the second stage of the tournament winning both its Group A clashes against Bangladesh and Ireland.

West Indies, on the other hand, made it to the round defeating Australia in a Group C game.

Team India is likely to face threat from in-form West Indies skipper Chris Gayle, who ripped through Australian bowling attack in the group encounter, on its way to victory in the match.
