IPL 3 Auction : Full list of Players Who sold in IPL Bidding

January 19, 2010

At the third Indian Premier League (IPL) auction held in Mumbai on Tuesday, eleven capped players and three Under-19 players were bought. Respective team owners appeared pleased to select whom they wanted under the change of rules.

The final fixtures and schedules of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2010 have been announced. The third season of IPL will start on March 12 and end on April 25, 2009. It’s a big payday for West Indian cricketers, and a forgettable day for Pakistani aspirants in the IPL.

The third IPL auction saw West Indian Kieron Pollard and New Zealand’s Shane Bond walk away with the biggest paychecks. Sixty seven players were available for auction, but 56 players remained unsold.

Team owners refrained from bidding for Pakistan’s cricketers. They say there is still a lot of uncertainty around the availability of Pakistani players for the season.
